Harvest of the day!

I guess most of the Malaysians are aware of the season we are in now. It's not spring;not summer;not monsoon, but yeah,it's durian season!!
It's always a joyous time to follow dad to the orchards, kinda excited when u see the fruits ready to be harvested r all around.Currently it's not just the season of fruit's king alone, but also his partner, the lovely queen-mangosteen,n rambutan.
My dad's principle is we will only bring back the amount we manage to eat.
So he just picked the 1 looked the best among all the falling durians.
what he did also called as 取舍(to decide rationally what to accept & reject ),not easy to practise in real life,at least to me..
We went to 1st orchard for durians & some limes for me to make drinks,& then another orchard for mangosteens.
As compared to durians, you need to pay certain effort to harvest mangosteen.bcoz most of them grow high,so if u want high yield,u've gotta climb up the tree.dad did the climbing job, meanwhile,i pluck those at lower level using a long hook.

Here's the mangosteens we got!

Unlike durians we pluck a lot,coz we can eat a lotssssss,antioxidant wei,who doesn't like? :P

& durian:

ei,realise why got 2?the larger is fr the 1st orchard.smaller 1 is fr the 2nd orchard, whereby i.witness.it.falls!so i insisted to bring it back though dad's reluctant bcoz i appreciate the 'jodoh' btw us.lol

&limes..super nice fragrance...:)))
